“My passion has pretty much always been photography.  I studied it at college, gained a degree in it at university and have worked in the industry ever since.”

My very first photography job was as a medical photographer working at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.  I photographed everything from operations and injuries, to PR and buildings. My most exciting assignment was a heart transplant and we will gloss over an embarrassing fainting incident in the ENT theatre!

I then tried my hand at fashion photography and worked as a retoucher for a number of online retailers.

My passion for photographing newborns and babies came after I became a mother myself.  I realised that, out of the hundreds of photographs I took every day with my phone – none of them were worthy of handing down to my children when they grew up. I desired high equality heirloom images of my children and so I retrained with three of the top newborn photographers in the UK and started photographing newborns and babies. And I love my job! It’s not the easiest by any means, but the most rewarding when I see the reactions on my clients faces when they see the images for the first time.

I am absolutely passionate about print photography – whilst I do provide the digital images, it is my ultimate goal to have people hanging photographs on their walls at home for all to see!
